What is FengShui?

FengShui is an art and science that was developed by the ancient chinese more than 3,000 years ago. It is a very complex knowledge that if practiced properly will bring the self excellent health, wealth and chance. Feng Shui is made of two words. “Feng” is wind and “Shui” is water. Fengshui is based on Taoist belief that the total land and earth is alive and everything is to the top with “Qi” or energy.

Beside of wind and water, FengShui contain of 3 other fundamentals: wood, fire and metal. Those fundamentals is that also guides chinese astrological sciences including dates of birth as well as color, season and the planets.

Feng Shui can also seen as a double edged sword. Fengshui describe that if the fundamentals is mixed, it can be productive and also destructive. In a productive cycle, fire produces earth, earth produces metal, metal produces water, water produces wood and wood produces the fire again. In a destructive cycle, wood destroys earth, earth destroys water, water destroys fire, fire destroys metal and metal destroys wood.

For example is if you were born on a fire year. It’s not excellent if you have too much water in the home because water destroys fire. On the other hand, if you have a lot of wooden in your home, then things will be excellent because wood will produces fire.

Several schools of fengshui have emerged for years. If you master the basic level of fengshui, you will start to see powerful advantages for both your home and for your business. Because by being understands these cycles, harmony and productivity is achieved. But most people does not have time to know that. This is why they consult Feng Shui experts when they erect office or home.

So what is Feng Shui?

For the people who don’t believe in it, fengshui is the way of making sure that you will get excellent chance. But for people who take fengshui seriously, Fengshui is what makes the essence of life nearly us. There must be a balance between these fundamentals so you can have healthy and meaningful life.
